Underwater Propulsion Vehicle
Save time and energy whilst having a blast!
Go further, faster without even needing to kick by learning how to use a Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV). A DPV is a kind of hand-held, underwater scooter that enables you to cover a much larger area using virtually no energy (and therefore less air) in less time. Best of all, they’re really good fun to ride. If the site you want to dive is a little too far away from your entry point, a DPV is just the thing to take you there in style.
During the course you’ll learn the skills, knowledge and procedures required to use DPVs safely without harming the environment, and practice using them during two dives.
After completing the course you’ll have the confidence and skills to explore further than ever before with a DPV. You’ll also have one more speciality certification towards the Master Scuba Diver rating.
