Open Water Scuba Instructor
Live the dream
The Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) course is the second part of the Instructor Development Course (IDC) and can be taught on its own or together with the Assistant Instructor portion.
During the course, you’ll learn how to teach all courses (except for specialities) up to the level of Divemaster and will apply this knowledge practically with classroom presentations and confined and open water teaching scenarios. You’ll also go further into such aspects as the business of diving and legal issues.
After completing the course, you’ll be prepared not only to pass the Instructor Examination, but also to teach in the real world. You may also consider further training in speciality course instruction towards the Master Scuba Diver Trainer rating.
